Michael’s Surprise 25 Year Anniversary Party!

Saturday 29th November was a very special day at The Salon, as we threw a surprise party to congratulate our very own Salon Director Michael Embleton on an AMAZING 25 years in business! This day 25 years ago, Michael opened his first hair salon, and from then on he has gone from strength to strength leading to such huge success today.

We are all very proud to have him as our mentor, his passion and enthusiasm for hairdressing is truly one of a kind – and we wouldn’t be where we are today without him. Thank you Michael and congratulations. Lots of love from your team The Salon, Langley Park!

Michael reflects what has been an incredible journey so far;

“Thank you to the other most important part of The Salon, Alan Armstrong, and the BRILLIANT TEAM we have behind us for the surprise party today!

It was fantastic to celebrate with clients and my life mentor, Hilary Lee, who give me my first Saturday job at the age of 14. She is my ROCK, and I have loved her from the first day I met her. Our friendship has grown so much over the 32 years we have known each other – we are like Mother and Son. I admire and respect her so much.

My ‘hairdryer cake’ was fabulous, and the special framed scissors with the words ‘Congratulations on 25 years of Business’ from Alan. It’s odd – I have never felt like I am in business. I am the same as every staff member and I have a job to do the same as them (the only difference is I and Alan have the bills to pay) I feel very spoilt and very appreciated from very one of you my work colleges and clients too!”
